Construction executives who are laid off and seeking employment need to realize that in today's economy, finding the right job will likely be a challenge, and that it may take 6 months to a year to find the right opportunity. It's important that you look at your construction job hunt as a full time construction job. Work at networking, sourcing the web job boards and classifieds, contacting construction recruiters for help, calling specific firms of interest that may not have open job postings, etc. Waiting for construction job opportunities to come your way is a mistake.
