How can I deal with an unethical construction employer?

When you construction employer asks you to do something you are not comfortable with, simply say that you are uncomfortable and would prefer if they got someone else to do the task. If the construction employer asks you to lie or do something illegal you must say that you cannot. There is nothing wrong with expressing your concern to your construction employer when he or she is behaving unethically. If it results in your termination than it is far better than to be dragged into an unethical situation. By association you will likely suffer even if you are not involved. It is recommended to transfer or leave the construction employer if your construction employer does not change his or her behavior after expressing your concern. However going over the construction employers head is not recommended unless it is an illegal act that must be reported to the appropriate authorities.
