Should construction employers look internally or recruit outside sources?

Telling employees that a search is being conducted outside the construction employer for a new construction manager always results in stress to the employees. They usually imagine the worst-case hire coming in, forcing negative change and possibly their termination. It is often best to tell employees that a new employee has been hired after the hire is consummated, yet before the new hire starts his or her first day at work.
