An effective job posting acknowledges these attributes in top performing talent:

*They are usually employed and reasonably well taken care of by their current construction employer.
*If they are considering a move, they do not look for a job; they look for a construction career advancement opportunity.
*They know they’re good and, therefore, want to be wooed by construction employers and construction recruiters.
*They often do not have a construction resume, and any construction resume they do have is well out-of-date.
*They have the attention span of a gnat.
