'Under general direction of the City Engineer, serves as the primary project manager for the engineering division, performs professional engineering work for environmental, water, sanitary sewer, street, and other Public Works issues and programs; ensures technical competence and compliance with all current codes and criteria; represent the City and department/division by servicing as a liaison between the City and citizens when responding to difficult issues and requests; works towards building public trust and confidence in the Public Works Department'
